hi nobody knows me but i would just like to say that the temeraire series is the best series I have ever read.Also I would like to say I can't wait for the fourth book to come out!Naomi Novikis the best writer in the world. i fell in love with Laurence and temeraire.Igot my school library to purchase the series and all of my friends too. they also think that the books are great and would like to read the fourth books when it comes out.

-Lien's original motivation for allying herself with the French, as explained in BPW, was to destroy everything Temeraire loved and valued, leaving him alone and friendless.  In VOE, that plan seems to have gone somewhat awry.  First Temeraire threatened to join the French himself if the British government had Laurence executed.  Now the government has exiled him and Laurence to Australia.  It's as if the British government is trying to beat Lien out for the privilege of making Temeraire's life miserable.  Is she beginning to wonder why she's bothering to do all this nasty and unCelestial fighting?  Or if she should abandon Napoleon and go see what trouble she can cause in Australia?
