Biography

According to Laurence, Powys had fat fingers when they met for the first time at Aerial Command. Powy directed Laurence and Temeraire to Loch Laggan covert to begin their training.

Powys also attended the meetings between the Admiralty and the Chinese contingent led by Prince Yongxing when the latter demanded Temeraire's return to China. Laurence credited Powys for saving his neck in one particular instance where the talks became heated and Laurence's anger got the best of him.
