Several breeds of dragons developed the ability to spit acid or poison. These breeds included the British Longwing. Other acid spitting breeds included the Longwing's ancestor, the Sharpspitter, the Copacati (Incan) and the poison-spitting Ka-Riu (Japan), at least the Ironwing is capable of a venemous bite.
