Biography
Allen was a young lookout for Temeraire. He was a cadet when William Laurence first added him to the crew, but soon makes ensign.
Allen was injured during the attack on their camp by raiders in the Taklamakan desert in August 1806, while William Laurence and his crew were travelling to Istanbul from China.
