Does anyone have any preference for how I tag the people who live in New South Wales. All of them would be born British, so I suppose they could go there. But it'd be nice to have a way of distinguishing them? It's not really proper to call them "Australian" since the country wasn't Australia until the 1900s. The "People of the colony of New South Wales" is proper, but too bulky, in my opinion. (Is "New South Walesh" a thing?) Mabye "Colonists"?  --[[User:Strangerface|Strangerface]] 10:16, 18 August 2010 (PDT)

New South Wales[edit]

Does anyone have any preference for how I tag the people who live in New South Wales. All of them would be born British, so I suppose they could go there. But it'd be nice to have a way of distinguishing them? It's not really proper to call them "Australian" since the country wasn't Australia until the 1900s. The "People of the colony of New South Wales" is proper, but too bulky, in my opinion. (Is "New South Walesh" a thing?) Mabye "Colonists"? --Strangerface 10:16, 18 August 2010 (PDT)
