Not much is known about Excursius, though presumably, he or she was a heavyweight dragon with a full crew and was a formation leader, so is probably a [[Regal Copper]] or a [[Longwing]], but since Excursius hasn't been listed so far with the other Longwings, a Regal Copper is more likely. Excursius was part of the Mediterranean Division of the [[Aerial Corps]], but was reassigned to the English Channel sometime after the [[Battle of Trafalgar]]. The name is derived from the Latin word for an attack or charge.
