Biography

George Laurence was William Laurence's older brother by six years, he stood to inherit Lord Allendale's title and lands.

By 1805, he is married to Elizabeth Laurence and they had three sons and a daughter, with another child on the way.

In 1807, George was present at the family estate in Nottinghamshire when the Aerial Corps retreated from London to Loch Laggan. Lord Allendale was gravely ill, and George had taken over many of his duties, though Lady Allendale still ran the household.
