Biography[edit]
His parents died of a flue and he has no family in 2000 miles around. Laurence must take him when they leave Australia as payment for Alice Pemberton. His hair is blond, curly and long. First he was very afraid of Temeraire although Gerry was very usefull for him because with his little fingers he could reach more spots while brushiing the dragon. Gerry habituated quickly at his new position, the other young aviators told him that they would have been happy to start earlier as a runner on such a big dragon. Emily Roland became a kind of his older sister and teacher.
