Biography

Gherni is a small, female member of Arkady's tribe. She is very adventurous and is more willing to be in the presence of men because she was born in the lowlands, not in the mountains like the others.

Occassionally, Gherni let Tharkay ride her, though he was usually found on Arkady's back. Later Arkady announced to Temeraire that he had sired an egg with Gherni.
