Biography

Hobbes was Lily's 1st Lieutenant, described by Laurence as "an intense young man." Along with the rest of Lily's crew and formation, he travelled to Cape Town in the summer of 1807 to find a cure for the dragon plague.

Hobbes was a member of the mushroom gathering party attacked by Kefentse and his warriors. When Josiah Erasmus identified himself as being from the Lunda tribe - not realizing that the warriors came from a rival tribe - one of the warriors ran him through with a spear. Hobbes shot the warrior, but was himself killed by Kefentse.
