-Immortalis was a member of [[Lily]]'s formation, one of the older dragons brought in to add experience, since Lily, [[Temeraire]] and [[Maximus]] were all quite young.  Like [[Messoria]], the other [[Yellow Reaper]] of the formation, he displayed an instinctive tendency to drop when another dragon dived on him from above.
-Immortalis was a quiet dragon and his captain, [[Little]], was a quiet man, so they were well-matched.  They journeyed to [[Cape Town]] with the rest of Lily's formation in the summer of 1807 to find a cure for the [[Dragon Plague]].
-Unsurprisingly, Immortalis' name in Latin means 'immortal'.
