Biography[edit]
He is the secretary of the british ambassador in Istanbul. After Arbuthnot died, Yarmouth vanished together with 500,000 pounds that were to buy the Kazilik-egg. He was supposed to have stolen the gold and have caused that the Turkish don't give away the eggs. But neither the British nor the Turkish could prove that he was a traitor because the money was spent to buy guns. Yarmouth and his family supported the Sultan's reforms and the modernization of the janicharic corps. His cousin married a sister of the Sultan. His brother led a part of the turkish army and Yarmouth was going to marry. What happened to him after he vanished isn't clear but sure he was murdered too.
