Biography[edit]
Jervins was harness master onboard an unnamed dragon and lost most of his left body side in a dragon attack, now he is a veteran. He has got a wooden leg and a metal hook instead of a hand. Because it is calm at London Covert he became lazy and stubborn. When Temeraire and Laurence are not allowed to see each other, Jervis sends messages between the dragon and his captain. Laurence listened to his stories and treated him kindly so Jervis is friendly to him too.
