Biography[edit]
Lacey was working as a maidservant at Loch Laggan covert when Capt. William Laurence was stationed there for training shortly after Temeraire's hatching.
When Lacey first met Laurence, she was wearing coarse homespun clothing and carrying a steaming plate of bacon and eggs, which she gave to Laurence to eat. She seemed to have a very cheerful disposition.
