A base in Inverness-shire, Scotland from which the British Aerial Corps conduct operations. It is one of the largest coverts and the "best" for training. In His Majesty's Dragon, William Laurence and Temeraire train at Loch Laggan. Celeritas is the training master there.
The base is located on an old Roman installation that includes baths. These provide a warm, frequently visited environment for unhatched dragon eggs to incubate.
