== Biography ==
Ning's egg was to be for Prince [[Mianning]], after his first dragon had died. But the egg was stolen by the French and brought to Paris where [[Joseph Pachacuti Yupanqui]], the crown prince, should get it. [[Temeraire]] and [[Iskierka]] rescued their egg and during the rescue little Ning hatched and then rescued her parents. Ning's egg was coloured in porcellan with a red 8 on it. Immediately after hatching Ning is able to use her special abilities, what are a mix of the Divine Wind and firespitting: she is spitting a white flame that will once be larger than that of her mother and when it is used together with the Divine Wind it shows strange behavior like curling at the edges or exploding when hitting something; the noise of the Divine Wind is higher than normal but it is as effective. Obviously she can decide, which ability she is about to use. 
Ning accompanies the allied armies, first carried by [[Requiescat]] later she flies alone. She speaks English, French and Chinese. The relationship to her parents is, like it's always between dragons and their children, distanced, more like between friends. Ning lerned a lot through the shell, for example about dragon rights or politics, that's why she is not really related to any country or captain. Therefore the English and her parents suspect her to help the enemy, what she in fact doesn't although she doesn't really support the Allies either. Concerning her abilities of discussing she is as talentated as her father. Ning has the talent to know many many dragons and people so she always gets what she wants. She wants to be presented to all young and mighty princes of Europe before choosing a companion but it seems that she will finally choose Mianning. Her main interest is to do the best for herself, she feels generous, she talks very much and soon pushes her parents into madness with her opinions. It seems that she has mainly inheritated the bad character traits of her parents. 
Finally she flies back to [[China]] with the returning ''Jalan''.
