As is characteristic of the breed, she is able to fly at high altitudes and cover great distances quickly. Lung Yu Fei worked as part of a network of Jade dragons that carried messages for General Lung Shao Chu's forces in Russia to, and from, China.
Lung Yu Fei also took part, along with Lung Yu Li, in the procession for William Laurence, Temeraire, Gong Su, and Tharkay as emissaries to General Kutuzov.
