Majestatis was young enough for active duty but retired to the breeding grounds after "mislaying" his captain. He preferred to sleep rather than spend time and effort on things that did not interest him, such as council politics and competition with other dragons for comfortable sleeping spots. He had a knack for making himself comfortable in unobstrusive ways that would not cause other dragons to challenge him.
