Naomi Novik

Noami Novik is the author of the Temeraire series.
Novik is a 33-year-old computer programer who lives in Manhattan, New York with her husband, Charles. She was raised in Roslyn Heights, New Jersey and is of Polish descent. She attended Brown University as an undergrad and later Columbia University postgrad. She began writing novels in her thirties, after having written numerous fan fiction stories. His Majesty's Dragon, her first novel, was begun in 2004.
