Species Notes
Though the Parnassian is a British breed, the French have at least one (as known from the battle above the HMS Goliath). This is because in the times of peace before the Napoleonic Wars, Britain and France had traded dragon eggs with each other to provide more variety for breeding. Another example of the results of this trade would be Nitidus, a Pascal's Blue (a French breed) whose egg was traded to the Aerial Corps.
Although one Parnassian, specifically Victoriatus, was said to be a large middleweight dragon, in all other cases dragons of the Parnassian breed have been said to be Heavyweights; presumably Victoriatus was small for his breed.
