The Rankin family were nobles who had kept dragons in their own estate before the dragons were reserved for the kingdom. After the creation of the Aerial Corps it was customary for the third sons of the family to join them.
Celeritas was a dragon companion with sure two man of the Rankin family; the third was Jeremy Rankin who than she refused.
Jeremy Rankin is not the best model of his honored own family.
