Species Notes
Chinese dragons used almost exclusively in the military. They are not intelligent enough for the exams and are described as very aggressive fighters. Laurence and his crew considered them as large dragons. They are crimson red, with gold-tinted talons and a yellow crest running down their spines from his many-horned head.
Scarlet Flowers are exclusively partnered with women, not because they refuse male companions but because the military is made up of women, due to female childs being less valued when circonscription is obliged. Poetically, it is also due to the legend of a women who disguised like a man, and got partnered with a dragon, and saved her country from disaster.
