No you're right. It never says he's married. Barely speaks of him at all. But then, I couldn't even find the other brother's name. I was thinking of Laurence's horrified reaction to the news Emily was "natural born." So I sort of pictured Lord Allendale as 100x that. I know the excerpt. I think, though, if we start including info from new books (especially those not in a published "preview" chapter) it's going to quickly get really hard to keep track of what's a spoiler and what's not.  I know we want to be as complete as we can, but it could get really troublesome.  (Among other things, information could well change at some point in the editing process.)  It's not a big deal here, but in general, let's save adding information until the book it appears in is actually released.

That's not a problem. I'm not going to add anything else from the reading. I just wanted to get rid of the awkward (but hilarious) "presumably" here. -- [[User:Strangerface|Strangerface]] 18:40, 11 December 2006 (PST)

"By 1805, he had (presumably) married and had three sons and a daughter." Haha. Sorry. I don't know why this made me laugh so hard. Strangerface 15:10, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

Hee! Well, I didn't find anything in HMD that *says* he was married, but you gotta figure he was, if he had 4 kids! Given that he's still his father's heir and all --consider Lord Allendale's reaction to illegitimate children, heh :)

Elizabeth[edit]

I know the excerpt. I think, though, if we start including info from new books (especially those not in a published "preview" chapter) it's going to quickly get really hard to keep track of what's a spoiler and what's not. I know we want to be as complete as we can, but it could get really troublesome. (Among other things, information could well change at some point in the editing process.) It's not a big deal here, but in general, let's save adding information until the book it appears in is actually released.
