The map should have 5 markers on it.  I'll admit that the link looks really ugly, and if someone could recomend a way to fix that, I'd be grateful.  Anyone who wants to work on the maps should be able to.  If you can't, post and I'll try to fix it.  The reason it's zoomed out so far is to include the island of Madeira.[[User:Thistledown|Thistledown]] 10:37, 7 January 2010 (PST)

Does the "map" section of this article and the next three books work for other people? For me, it's just a bunch of nonsense code? I'm wondering if it should be removed, but maybe it's my browser (Firefox). -- [[User:Strangerface|Strangerface]] 17:19, 17 August 2010 (PDT)

Revision as of 00:19, 18 August 2010

There was an interesting article in a writing article about how Naomi Novik got published. It mentioned that her original title for this book was "Between Wind and Water" but the publisher changed it. I'm going to try to find the article online. -- Strangerface 13:36, 29 September 2006 (PDT)

Added U.K. cover

I hope the markup is all right. --viviena 19:14, 9 February 2007 (PST)

Page Update

I've just added a synopsis of the book to this page, and started a section for listing the characters introduced in this book.

I wonder, is the link to Europe in Google Maps really neccessary? It doesn't appear to have been placed properly, as I just get a lot of text. I think either an excerpt from an atlas would be sufficient, or perhaps a specialised map, such as the one of the coverts, or even nothing, as only Britain is depicted in this story, and a large map adds little.
