I was thinking that this breed is so small that it would used also as runner for the other dragon ina battle or as scout in a patrol in front of the patrolling team, (it would i think also capable to land on the back of a dragon!)

As shown in ToJ theier easy temper would be very good to be in service with dragons in battle as theier own courier.

It would also good for the european to crossbreed the Jade with a Plein-de-Vite, (for the french), for resistence, or a chasseur-vociferie/poux-de-ciel for a very fast light combat dragon, with one of winchester grey-widow-maker or greyling (for the english), to have faster and more intelligent courier or a very faster and good tempered light combat dragon. What would you think?? [[User:Samuel|Samuel]]

There are a huge number of ways the Oriental breeds and methods could improve the European bloodlines and interactions between humans and dragons. As the Jade does not habitually carry a rider the idea of it landing onto a larger dragon in flight does not seem too absurd. Although given the extensive use of signal flags I'm not sure how much help it would be.

A more interesting tactical consideration to my mind is the prospect of encouraging dragons to fight without captains. Current European tactics hold the Captain as all important. An independent dragon that would continue to fight even if it's captain we killed would be a huge advantage as the enemy would have the wrong focus during a boarding. They would be useful both for helping a dragon under boarding as saving his capitain at occorence too, and either to do the same bidding for wich Lung Tien Lien used his own curiers. [[User:Samuel|Samuel]]
