Granby's DOB comes from Chapter 1 of BPW (summer of 1806), where Laurence describes him as looking "younger than his twenty years and six." - whitearrow

I'm not sure, but after re-reading Throne of Jade I get the impression that Granby did not refuse to become captain to Obversaria's egg, but to become Lloyd's replacement as Excidium's first lieutenant. It would still be a promotion, because Excidium is a formation leader with 70 years of experience. But since English is not my first language, I would be grateful if someone confirmed it. The passage is on page 15 in my edition. Natli

Absolutely spot on Natli, and the page number too. I've changed it, does anyone have any issues with what we have now? Is the section on capture of prizes appropriate here? It marks a significant change in aerial tactics and could deserve it's own page. Andrew 15:28, 5 November 2007 (PST)
