R.I.P Observaria. --strangerface 9.20.06

Hrm...

You know, since this is in the preview for book 4, I'm wondering if we shouldn't omit that information for now. Some people aren't reading the previews at all and don't want to be spoiled... obviously reading anything here will spoil for the published books, but I'm thinking we might not want to spoil for the non-published books yet. What do you think?

Oh. Hmm. I hadn't thought of that. --strangerface

I really strongly agree with Whitearrow on this one. --Andrew 04:15, 12 January 2007 (PST)

-In case someone really wants to put it back, or post book 4 publication here is the text I've removed.

Spoiler Warning

Warning! The following page contains spoilers for the unpublished Book 4!

End Warning

She died in August of 1806, of the sickness that affected many of the dragons. It was a great loss to the Corps and also to Lenton personally.

However, a small bit of Obversaria lives on. An egg she laid that was kept at the Loch Laggan covert was near hatching by the time Laurence left Britain for China. It was to be given to Lloyd, who was Excidium's first lieutenant.

End- Probably worth noting that now the discussion contians spoilers with no real warning of them. lol --Andrew 04:20, 12 January 2007 (PST)

Angle or Angelwing?

My paperback is loaned out at the moment, but both my omnibus (p. 94, 228, 2nd full paragraph) and my digital edition say Anglewing. So does my paperback of ToJ on p. 15 and 275 of the omnibus.

Sorry your'e right again. I used to make fun of people who made the angle/angel mistake when I was in the Buffy fandom too! The shame. -Strangerface 19:04, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

No problem -- kinda wish it was Angel, it's prettier :)

-whitearrow

I read it that way because I wanted it to read that way. I'd like to say it was a typo like the other one. But I was deluding myself! - strangerface 19:29, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

Name

In my version of the books, the name is spelled Obversaria, not Observaria. -BPaine 14:45 1 December 2007

Oy! You are quite right. I'll deal with it and all the links as soon as I get a chance. Good catch! -whitearrow 19:12, 2 January 2007 (PST)
