What is it that suggests to you that "Vindicatus" is merely a misspelling of "Victoriatus"?

It's very probable I'm wrong. But in that conversation with Lawrence, he says Victoriatus told him about whores, with no mention of another dragon, and then he says "Vindicatus said"... which seemed odd to me. And Vindicatus is never mentioned again. -- Strangerface 16:57, 13 August 2007 (PDT)

No, on second thought, I believe I should have read more thoroughly before I posted the question. Although perhaps not technically a misspelling, it does seem quite possible that a name change was not applied consistently.

I'd love to hear the answer from the author.
