Not much is known about Vindicatus.  He met [[Temeraire]] in 1805 at the [[Loch Laggan Covert]] and, along with [[Victoriatus]], educated him about whores.  Specifically, Temeraire credited Vindicatus with the information that visiting whores is "prodigiously nice for men" and prevents them from wanting to get married.

Vindicatus may have been one of the many dragons stationed at Loch Laggan. However, he could have been one of the two [[Yellow Reapers]] who initially carried Victoriatus to Loch Laggan, as another two Yellow Reapers were seen travelling back with him to Edinburgh, which could mean that they were formation partners.

(It is possible that Vindicatus is merely a misspelling of Victoriatus's name.)
