Willoughby

One of Temeraire's harness-men, Willoughby was killed during the attack on the residence of Captain William Laurence and his crew in China in 1806. He was buried in China, and Sun Kai and Prince Mianning arranged for his tomb to be well-kept and for sacrifices to be made, according to Chinese tradition. As his mother was a strict Methodist, Laurence decided not to share the information about sacrificies, only assurances that her son's tomb was appropriate and would be well-maintained. Sun Kai also arranged for a drawing of the tomb.
