Biography
Harcourt was a tall, young girl with long, red hair which she usually wore in a braid. She was one of the few females in the Aerial Corps, owing to the fact that Longwings prefer women-handlers.
Initially, she was too young and inexperienced to be leader of Lily's formation even though her dragon was in the lead. Sometime in between the Battle of Dover and Temeraire leaving for China, she earned that honor. She proved to be an experienced flier; she and Lily wer one of the few teams that remain in the air throughout the Battle of Dover.
