Biography[edit]
Devastatio was a courier. He was sent with his captain, Miller, to retrieve William Laurence, who was riding with Hollin and Elsie to find Temeraire. They were attacked by a Petit Chevalier and Devastatio took the worst of it because he was flying first. They were rescued by Requiescat who brings them to Temeraire.
He is markedly smaller than Elsie, even though they are the same breed of dragon.
