Biography
Praecursoris was a French dragon who accompanied his captain, Jean-Paul Choiseul, to Britian after Napoleon Bonaparte came to power in France. During training, he acts as something of a foil to Temeraire, increasing his interest in formation flying and improving his performance.
Although Choiseul appeared to be a royalist seeking asylum, he had come to Britian to do Napoleon's bidding. Choiseul was caught and eventually executed.
