Biography
Because there is very little information regarding the family tree of the Celestial dragons of China, it is presumed that Lung Tien Chu was the son of either Lung Tien Ming or Lung Tien Zhi, and the grandson of Lung Tien Xian (See below for more details). His daughter is Lung Tien Lien, an albino Celestial born during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor, who was believed to be unlucky, due to her being born in "mourning colours".
Since Celestials appear to mate only when an heir is needed, this could mean he was companion to the Qianlong Emperor, or his predecessor, the Yongzheng Emperor.
Aside from being briefly mentioned by Qian, Chu has not appeared in the Temeraire series to date.
Relation to other Celestials
Because little is known about the family tree of the Celestials, the following chart is conjectural. A detailed explanation on how this conclusion was reached exists on the page for Lung Tien Xian.
