Biography
Chu was the son of either Lung Tien Ming or Lung Tien Zhi, and the grandson of Lung Tien Xian. His daughter is Lung Tien Lien, an albino Celestial born during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor, who was believed to be unlucky, due to her being born in "mourning colours".
Since Celestials appear to mate only when an heir is needed, this could mean he was companion to the Qianlong Emperor, or his predecessor, the Yongzheng Emperor.
Aside from being briefly mentioned by Qian, Chu has not appeared in the Temeraire series to date.
